We turn moments into memories, creating powerful visual narratives that celebrate
courage, honor journeys, and break the stigma surrounding illness and survivorship.

The Story Behind Our Organization
I Picture Hope story is deeply personal and rooted in the power of resilience, empowerment, and storytelling through
photography. I Picture Hope began as a heartfelt project to capture the strength and courage of individuals facing life-altering
diagnoses, particularly cancer survivors and warriors.

Lori, a professional photographer, cancer survivor and advocate, was inspired to use her talent behind the lens to create more than just portraits—she wanted to provide a source of hope, healing, and empowerment for those battling illness. The project offers survivors and fighters an opportunity to be seen beyond their diagnosis, to embrace their beauty, strength, and individuality through powerful imagery.

Over the years, I Picture Hope has grown into a movement that not only provides uplifting portrait sessions but also raises awareness and fosters a supportive community. These sessions are more than just photographs; they are stories of survival, love, and perseverance. Sadly, some of the individuals photographed have since passed away, and their images have become treasured memorials for their families—further reinforcing the significance of capturing these moments.

Through I Picture Hope, Lori continues to honor the legacies of those she’s photographed, offering a space where people can find strength in their journeys and inspire others with their stories. The project stands as a testament to the resilience of the human spirit, proving that even in the face of adversity, hope shines through.
